Alexandria Harmonizers Are Joining to Japan-US Chorus Festival !

One of the top Barbershop Chorus groups in the nation, Alexandria Harmonizers,is coming to New York to participate the 1st Japan-US Chorus Festival to be held at the Isaac Stern Auditorium in Carnegie Hall on May 20, 2011. The 4 time International Barbershop Contest champions with 60 years history will represent US to perform and entertain the chorus-lovers in the New York city next spring. Representing Japan, "Bush Clover Choir (Hagi Gasshodan)" , will be coming from Sendai, Japan.
A couple of more chorus groups are expected to join the 1st Japan-US Chorus Festival.


記念すべき第一回日米合唱祭にアメリカで指折りのバーバーショップのコーラスグループであるアレキサンドリア・ハーモナイザーの出演が決まった。このコンサートは2011年5月20日にカーネギー大ホールで開かれる。
アレキサンドリア・ハーモナイザーは60年を越える歴史を持つグループで過去全米コンテストで４回優勝している。
日本側のコーラスグループとしては、仙台の合唱団「萩」が参加することで決まっている。
さらに２－３の団体が参加する予定である。
